Who We Are

Hope exists to make disciples of Jesus Christ.  Our longing is for people to hear and believe the Gospel message, that though we are sinners, God loved us so much that He sent Christ to die for us and to trust Him for salvation.  (Romans 5:8, John 3:16-18).

God calls His Church together in local congregations, like Hope, to respond to His grace with our worship, to live in true fellowship as a family, and to be strengthened and equipped in order to be sent out to share His Good News with others.  God's love for us and our love for people gives us a "passion to reach beyond our own comfort to all people among whom God places us.  It is our prayer and hope that everyone come to have a personal, living, and growing faith in Jesus Christ.

We have a relaxed and informal worship experience on Sunday mornings, with a song team and musicians instead of organs and clerical robes.  We feel a kinship with other denominations and churches who believe that the Bible is absolutely trustworthy and that God has sent His church on mission.  Together with our larger church family, we have deployed missionaries to people who have not heard the Gospel.

Hope is a member congregation in the Church of the Lutheran Bretheren of America (CLBA).
